U. S. charges against TikTok's data harvesting practices are totally hypocritical! Why is Bytedance measuring user response to emotional, controversial content ANY DIFFERENT THAN FACEBOOK & META (Israel) doing the SAME THINGS with it's user's data?
FB often puts ads or articles of topics IT KNOWS will incite ANGER & PUSHBACK from it's users than imposes penalties on any users who respond with inflammatory COMMENTS!!
FACEBOOK harvests these responses deliberately to benefit IT'S ADVERTISING REVENUE STREAM!
SO TIKTOK COPIED THE WORLD'S LARGEST IMITATOR AD PLATFORM!
WHY IS THAT A "CRIME"?
