If our central government and armed forces remain as chaotic and enept as this in restoring a relatively small 'disaster area' what would the response be like if much larger areas of the nation were to be attacked and devastated?

ADDITIONALLY, The presidential election tragicomedy show unfolding now is YET ANOTHER THING WHICH UNNERVES WORLD LEADERS!  AFTER THE LAST BUSH REGIME IT BECAME OBVIOUS THAT ANY COMPLETE IDIOT CAN WIN THE U.S. PRESIDENCY NOWADAYS.  ALL IT TAKES IS A LOT OF MONEY AND ENTERTAINMENT QUALITIES TO GET THE JOB WITH THE HAND ON THE NUCLEAR BUTTON!
