Corporate free speech rule ended democracy

 The path to Executive absolute rule in the USA began with the 1978 and 1980 SCOTUS rulings protecting the so called "right" of giant corporations to say and print whatever they want in advertising!   This first amendment "right" laid the ground work for persuasive mass political propaganda which greatly expanded with the major social media platforms. 

The second path to dictatorship working hand and glove with FNB 1978 was America's massively failing educational system

 Which left most regular Americans mentally and academically ill equipped to decide what political advertising was true or what was blatant propaganda as they shuffled off to the voting booths

 Or decided not to vote at all saying their votes didn't matter anyway! 

GOP DICTATORS?

 In Florida, Republican politicians are imitating Cuba's dictators trying to make their state like the communist island by crushing the first amendment and strictly regulating all outdoor gathering among other actions.

The National Republican party secretly admires the CCP or Chinese Communist Party's ideological uniformity and massive membership base. So by purging Ms. Cheney and shouting down Mit Romney the GOP is pushing for CCP-like mental uniformity and continuing to back populism it strives to vastly increase the quantity not the quality of its members just like Jin-Ping's CCP !
