 Mental health funding isn't the answer because psychiatry only recognizes a few limited categories which insurance will pay for.

The answer is stopping the excessive number of firearms in circulation in America because the fact is there are too many angry individuals with bad attitudes in circulation everywhere in America.  

One answer to firearms reduction in circulation is that every weapon recovered from a crime after evidence has been processed must be taken directly to the nearest metal stamping factory, placed on the 800 ton stamping press and hammered to a blank of sheet metal to then be returned to its owner so NRA can't claim guns are being confiscated from the public.

The quantity of firearms converted to sheet metal flats must equal or exceed new products sold by the anarchy products industry.

REGULATE HARDEN GUN SHOPS!

 Rarely a week goes by we don't hear about yet another firearms dealer having been robbed killed or both and their weapons all stolen by criminals endangering both the public and law enforcement. 

Gun dealers premises MUST be standardized  and regulated just like banks used to be. 

 Real weapons should not be displayed in front windows or kept in simple glass cases that are easily broken by thieves.   

Guns should be treated like cash is in BANKS they should be kept in vaults with only decoy samples out on counters or display cases.  When weapons are brought out to a buyer they should come out of a mechanical chute or "window" .  

An employee must never walk into a gun vault with or for a buyer to bring out a purchase!  

Dealers should themselves be armed and required to practice at a shooting range regularly!  

If this makes it too expensive for small dealers so what fewer firearms should be in casual circulation anyway.
