UNARGUABLE TRUTH:  Catholic priests become perverts and rapists because 1) CELIBACY DOES NOT WORK.  2) MASTURBATION is forbidden by doctrine of nonsense. 3) CATHOLIC FOODS encourage SEXUAL AROUSAL instead of suppressing it as in Buddhism.  4) Many priests are gluttons. 5) HOMOSEXUALITY is condemned when it should be tolerated particularly among the clergy.

This Pope's resignation is like the Catholic Church's answer to the Buddhist monk's self-emolation as an ultimate form of protest or show of 'exasperation' with the misdeeds of his Church clergy or followers.  He has symbolically 'sacrificed' himself - FOR THE MANY SINS & hypocracies OF HIS PRIESTS and CARDINALS !!

You see, it's the Extreme Right that wants to not only turn the world economic order back to the 1920's but to also bring about ARMAGEDDON to return the earth to the "stone-age" and start civilization all over again!

This great plan of the CheneyNazis will be brought about by recreating the world economic conditions of the Great Depression and the 1930's and couple them with unfettered nuclear proliferation of the present which will eventually lead to a nuclear world war likely started by North Korea, Iran, Pakistan or some other nutty, unstable regime with hot, new "toys" it can't wait to "play" with.

This Nuclear Armageddon will be The Far-Right's way of "cleansing" the Earth of all the "sins" of our age (Gay Power, a Black U.S. president, etc.) and putting God back in charge of the world & our universe.
