Finally I hope there's a possibility that the telecom industry FOX will be removed from the Lifeline/Safelink HEN HOUSE !!
I as well as many others have been suckered into buying unneeded new Android phones by customer service agents supposedly working for Safelink but actually on owner Tracfone's payroll then being led into endless circles trying to get our "approved" EBB applications "honored" by Safelink so we can finally get our free 350 minutes on the federal lifeline program.
It seems to be a no-brainer (except to Republicans) that private phone carriers don't want potential or existing customers leaving their paid services & products and jumping over to a competing government funded carrier.
So then why are private carriers made the gate keepers for the free, public telephone program for low income consumers called Lifeline? It seems like another Republican joke invented by the previous FCC chairman 'cockroach' what's his name
This EBB application game is not only played by tracfone/ safelink other carriers are also playing it using the EBB publicity to trick, confuse and steer needy consumers into BUYING their airtime and phones but never allowing them to go through the magic door to the federal lifeline program for which they all hold the mystical "key"!
