The House of Idle, Bored Representatives is constantly groveling for new or retread "issues" to give the appearance of its members actually doing something!
The current "issue" of supposed urgency is still why candidate Trump was twice, so far, subjected to two assassination attempts the first of which was very near successful?
Defending Mr. Trump seems to be an extremely urgent priority for the GOP House without whom they would have no mission at all.
Then also many probably suspect that Trump's growing list of enemies in the "deep state" such as former Vice President Dick Cheney and Retired General Milley may be conspiring to help snuff him before he can be reinstalled in another supposed "Administration".
