I can't help but wonder after watching a YouTube "expose" claiming PLA-N now guarding Venezuela's coast a danger to US regime, that Pete Hegseth's edict to the Pentagon press pool is primarily intended to screen out "alarming" news like this one.
Or is it simply to pre-empt another present day version of The Pentagon papers being published as occurred during the US war in Vietnam?
IF the US were engaging in a shooting war with China immediately does the DC regime prefer the American public not know anything about it until Turd can spin it to his political (& financial) advantage?
