ASIA'S CIVIL WARS AGAIN?

It would appear that a repeat of early 20th century history is gradually unfolding.  Russia and Ukraine are replaying WWI trench warfare in a whirlpool that's sucking in European nations.

The Korean civil war which only paused with (continued) American intervention is heating up again.

The Chinese civil war which paused in 1949 when the PLA forced the KMT withdrawal to the island of Formosa (Taiwan) and American battleships occupied the Taiwan straights off China's coast to defend the KMT, is deliberately heating up again.

Leaving only Vietnam as the sole winner of unification after communist forces, corruption and US antiwar protests at home combined to literally push American military forces of the coast in 1975.

China undoubtedly envies the victorious unification of Vietnam over US intervention and is most likely determined to have a replay in it's unfinished battle over Nationalist Taiwan.

Thus the Viet Cong - US playbook and the recent defeats of US intervention in middle eastern civil wars such as in Afghanistan gives the CCP hope of victory.

Particularly if North Korea moves against South Korea at the same time as China invades Taiwan and America's major internal weaknesses (political disunity, mass homelessness, industrial decline, suicides and ongoing pandemic death toll) as well as the costs of supporting Ukraine all combine to force the US into yet another military retreat

Possibly allowing China to negotiate an occupation of the Western U.S. from which it would exploit our vast agricultural and mineral resources (and move it's most polluting industries!) All spoils of war for it's people back in a now Communist Unified Asia!

But being the happy capitalists we are in another 20 years we'd be trading with Asia all over again!
