Is it ONLY ME (and my tinnitus) or is it actually true that those hand dryers in so many public lavatories seem to HURT MY EAR DRUMS while claiming to be "saving" my environment?? Often after having washed my hands I'm faced with choosing between leaving the restroom with dripping wet hands(this I do most often!) using EARPLUGS, or holding my hands under the air blaster outlet just low enough to reduce the ear shattering roar but high enough to keep the motion sensor activated and the darn thing running long enough to get the 'job' done!
Really, I think THIS will be the next cheezy opportunity for hard up injury lawyers who will insist that the product FAILS to adequately warn consumers (by means of a "health label") who use the hand dryer, of the potentially high decibel level and the NEED for them to WEAR HEARING PROTECTORS before attempting to place their hands close to the hot air outlet's mouth
!!
