Trump actually wants a weak labor market so there are plenty of willing, unemployed adults to join his domestic military build up forces like ICE the national guard and bounty hunters!
After Elon musk and DOGE bent over backwards to reduce the US federally paid workforce Trump is now deliberately increasing the employment of public sector workers using "law enforcement" as his pretext!
At the same time, conveniently, thanks to his tariffs and random mass arrests of workers in low wage occupations, the US job market is collapsing more and more therefore the availability of people applying for government jobs in the military and domestic security ranks is balooning!
Under Trump & the Republicans America is looking more & more like the former SOVIET UNION where thousands worked for the feared KGB which was the secret police, border police, military intelligence and prison management etc
