The thought occurred to me that the recent explosion of brush fires in the Carolinas when there's been a total absence of lightning storms in February may possibly be started by cheap hobby drones going out of control or E-bikes?
"Spring fever" combined with a large supply of toy grade drones on websites like Temu, Walmart and Amazon being mass marketed for "vacation" time outdoor play might be a fire hazard if the lithium batteries disconnect from the crafts upon impact with trees or the ground?
These batteries may be ignited spontaneously by water saturation and /or high heat sources including direct sunshine and also crushing or breaking open!
Once ignited the fires are reported to be very difficult to extinguish and sometimes have to burn out by themselves!
