As Bill Barr recently stated on PBS Donald Trump will likely NEVER serve a day behind bars no matter how many indictments he faces and how many felonies he is charged with because he IS A FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
So as such is the likelihood that all these court procedings are just perfunctory exercises of the constitution, law and order and due process what should the outcome be given that actual laws have been grossly broken by a rich kid from NYC who, like many native New Yorkers, has no sense of shame or morals.
The main purpose of subjecting Trump to the rule of law is to demonstrate that our elected officials are not kings who are above the law which all other Americans are required to submit to. So if that is actually the case than what sort of penalty, if not jail time, should he be compelled to serve out?
What about require him to serve out his "time" by performance of community service consisting of a number of public service tasks equal to the number and gravity of the felonious acts he is being charged with?
Such punishments though "white collar", kid glove level critics will charge , could still cause Mr. Trump considerable emotional and mental stress as he is forced to do something he dislikes the most.
PUT OTHERS BEFORE HIMSELF! It could also force him to spend many hours contemplating the gravity of his misdeeds to others, the nation and the world.
All things he very much dislikes having to "waste" his valuable egotistical,time bothering with at all!
