Ukraine Army should follow Chairman Mao!

One of the key paragraphs in The little Red book of the Chinese revolution where a guerrilla army struggled against both the American supplied KMT, warlords and the Japanese imperial army was a treatise on "TACTICAL FLEXIBILITY" which The PRC has used in recent decades to aquire economic and technical parity with the west by (temporarily) appearing to embrace capitalism and the free market which President Xi is now rolling back. (restoring Marxist ideology)

In the revolution Mao advocated a "give and take"  strategy in battles where land or cities won by the red army could be withdrawn from temporarily to conserve scarce troops and weaponry and to give enemies a false sense of progress to weaken their readiness and resolve!

Then "when the enemy rests we harass" (or attack) "when  the enemy retreats we pursue"!    Another ordered the "taking  of providential capitols  and small cities first" "big  cities later" ! ....

The same tactical flexibility could be used in pretending to cede large contested provinces and cities to Russia, allow their army to rest and celebrate victory then harass the troops and attack them at more convenient times!   As did the Viet Cong in it's war against Japan, France and America!

Maybe even sue for Peace with Russia pretending to "admit loss"  then resume resistance and armed struggle later!

It wouldn't be any more "immoral" or "unjust" than Putin's invasion has been in the first place.  And too, as with China's huge economic gains by temporarily relaxing it's true ideology and fooling American investors into believing China had "gone Western" Tactical flexibility might greatly advance Ukrainian power in it's future!
