Lately The PRC is acting warm towards Russia even as it invades Ukraine unprovoked.
But China would be wise to recall how Stalin was "rewarded" for his friendly warmth towards Hitler during the German invasions of Europe .
Stalin's warmth and non intervention against Hitler betrayed weakness which Hitler later brutally exploited by invading deep into Soviet territory!
It isn't unimaginable that an emboldened Putin (who recently stated that the world's only two super powers are Russia & USA) could seek to invade Northern China in a bid to recapture manchuguo which it also held at one time and from which to attack Japan.
