Prime minister Trudeau has just announced that on behalf of leading equity funds Indian boarding schools long closed will be reopened and used to detain indefinitely indigenous protesters opposed to and obstructing construction of trans continental oil pipelines crossing under their ancestral lands.
The Canadian government said it is just following the excellent examples set by China in dealing with disruptive nationalists in its resource rich Western Xinjiang region.
