The more society sensationalizes and publicizes mass violence the more often it will occur unless or until there is a serious attempt at mass armed sedition against the state and Federal government which would almost certainly bring about a state of emergency, suspension of the constitution, draconian gun control etc.
Since the causation of mass murder in America is political lameness and corruption nurtured by the gun industrial complex it will most likely occur AGAIN AND AGAIN for the foreseeable future JUST AS REGULARLY AS WERE THE AMERICAN BODY COUNTS DURING THE VIETNAM WAR. (WHICH WAS EVENTUALLY BROUGHT TO AN END BY MASS CIVILIAN OPPOSITION)
AS HORRIBLE AS THAT THOUGHT IS AMERICA MUST PREPARE FOR IT JUST AS THEY WOULD A STATE OF WAR!!
A NATIONAL MEMORIAL TO VICTIMS OF MASS GUN TERRORISM SHOULD BE BUILT IN WASHINGTON DC with the names of all those killed in every school, mall, concert, park or whatever included and plenty of space left for more to be added. Each incident location should be assigned a NUMBER (bar code?) so to de-sensationalize. The names of shooter perpetrators should also be reduced to numbers just as those of prisoners and the shooters should be denigrated into a "gallery of losers" who's faces or silhouettes are placed at the lowest possible level as a sort of 'baseboard' or curb above a gutter would be so they are no higher than the shoe soles of the victim's mourners. (could also be used to line the bases of park trash receptacles) Would the next would be mass shooter lust for a chance to be given a number and have his/her likeness added to the "Loser's gallery" at gutter level? I doubt it.
