So ya wanna know what the real rationale is for crippling and gutting Foggy Bottom?  Well, like most of The Trump family's anti-American agenda it's just doing another little favor for Russian power brokers (and other authoritarian regimes) who've long been annoyed and inconvenienced  by those pesky idealists in the Washington, DC bureaucracy.  Russian oligarchs formerly from the KGB and Soviet military installed our moron-in-chief exactly for the purpose of making American government weak, chaotic and ineffective at home and abroad as well as pulling it off the world stage and out of the way of new, aspiring empires.  Now the super rich everywhere can indulge themselves without limit while the world burns and America, dizzy with conflict, shrivels up and blows away.
