As soon as VERIZON took over ALLTEL cellular the dark days began on Alltel U (Prepaid) First the "Pay per day" rate went from being a "Pay ONLY on days you use your phone! to " .75 EVERY day"
Now they've nudged the daily rate UP to $1.00 PER DAY, EVERYDAY !
VERIZON may be noted for reliability but it sure isn't noted for ECONOMY.
The sad fact is Alltel's previously affordable cellular service has been hijacked by another BIG-SPENDING, BIG CHARGING conglomorate. :(
