This post has NOTHING to do with the controversial statement made by a minor American celebrity last month that the big Earthquake in China was "Karma". Except that I think SHE obviously HAS ADHD! (High IQ + connecting "dots"+ Verbal impulsivity = A.D.H.D)
It was long after news of the earthquake reached me that I became aware of her remarks and only then after doing some online research in response to an unpleasant encounter with an extremely rude waitress at a local Chinese buffet (she "served" me water both in my glass AND over 3/4 of the table -while I was at the Buffet) which I eventually concluded was in "retaliation" for my having the ideogram for "Buddha" emblazoned on my car side (visible through the establishment's large windows).
At first I thought her outrage was related to the Olympic torch disruptions by westerners then I found the UP reports of this young actress's remarks to a Hong Kong journalist. Strangely, Immediately after I heard of the huge earthquake striking China, my first thought was; Gee, didn't they just run a 2nd Olympic torch up Mount Everest, a Holy mountain, despite numerous requests not to? Hmmmm....... If it smells like Karma, looks like Karma, and Sounds like Karma ..................well it most likely was Karma. After-all this was no ordinary Chinese earthquake. It struck dead in the center of the country, the Chinese heartland, it caused unusually large amounts of death and devastation and it was followed by numerous, powerful aftershocks and it came very soon after the torch was forced up the mountain by a climbing, propaganda team.
In case you would like to accuse me of being "Anti-China" by stating this, you should know that immediately after I heard of the Sept. 11 attacks on the U.S. that were then still in progress, I had the very same gut feeling. That the United States government had pushed too many people, way too far in the mid-east and that finally the reciprocal "effect", following the "cause" was taking place, awful though it was.
So there it is ; The Earthquake WAS Kamma, it was simply the collective "effect" which followed the collective "cause". I lay the blame for this not on "China" itself, and not on the millions of victims, but on it's bone-brained government. specifically, The Chinese Communist Party which stops at nothing to advance it's shortsighted, political agendas by which it is gradually destroying China while claiming to 'save' it. Across the country the CCP is engineering one Environmental disaster after another, condemning millions of innocent citizens to lives of hopeless internal migration and wasting tons of money as well as natural resources.
The CCP thinks that it is 'God', that it can do whatever it wishes, no matter how criminal, and get away with it. Even bring about the "End of the world" if it so decides. Well just maybe the recent earthquake is a form of 'Notice' from the real "God" and from the Planet it's self that the CCP is running out of luck, it is running out of 'credit' it is running-out of good Kamma !
It can no longer plunder the nation and the planet without suffering dire and terminal consequences, ones which just may 'snuff ' it out of it's very existence. If the CCP doesn't believe this and start to change it's way of doing business there will probably be many more such disasters to follow until Nature finally gets man's "Attention".
