The most recent (OFSFTM's)Oral Fart Sessions for the Masses a.k.a "SPEACHES BY THE PRESIDENT" I was vaguely aware of but successfully and totally avoided as usual.
In fact I honestly can't recall the last time I made myself endure this agonizing performance of verbal flatulence & public mumbling.
Possibly it was right after the 9-11-01 disasters when I WANTED so much to BELIEVE in MY COUNTRY's leadership. Even though I suspected that something about all this was a little too well choreographed, too conveniently timed, too crudely scripted and acted. And yes, as we the Intelligent Class(those who see the Emperor is naked) have concluded over the last five years, all-the-dots-connect. It's a very sad, ongoing show of political ignorance, thinly disguised GREED and unbelievable brutality to our own citizens and to those overseas.
Therefore, I concluded that besides the pain of witnessing the "leader of the Free world" slur his speech, garble his words, repeat simple-minded slogans and insist on utter non-sense as serious public policy, it's rather aggravating to submit to THE SAME OLD LIES AND DISINFORMATION, performance year after year. Knowing that way-too-many supposedly "educated" people were standing in front of The Duh tearfully, solemnly nodding their heads while they are being systematically hoodwinked by an evil regime installed by a ruthless Ruling-Class who's greed (& ignorence) knows no bounds. The next "Performance of Nonsense session" I'll "monitor" on Spanish language media (I'm not at all fluent) while I gargle or wash the dishes & pots!
